The Trans Takeover is an exploration of TGI Dignity, Equity & Recognition in Los Angeles's suburban neighborhoods and beyond. In a time when Queer and Trans (LGBTQIA2S+) communities stories need to be emboldened this online publication centers living, working and playing to resist oppression and develop healthy communities.

The Trans Takeover is personal, playful and deep. Nationwide, the Queer and Trans (LGBTQIA2S+) communities are under an unprecedented attack, and we recognize that change requires all of us. With an understanding that Transgender, Gender Expansive & Intersex (TGI) Joy, Magic, and Power are possible - this archival space will serve as a centering and celebration of trans culture everywhere.

With a changing world, folks like Erin in the Morning and TransLash Media are playing powerful roles in the landscape of media advocacy & justice. Historically transgender, gender expansive & intersex (TGI) communities have been left out of the main narrative of print & online publications. Our vision for The Trans Takeover is an exploration of TGI Dignity, Equity & Recognition. It in a time our community needs it most dignity protects us, equity enforces justice, and recognition grows respect.
